Launched in 2005, the Xbox 360 has set the benchmark for the current generation of home video consoles.
With several revisions along the way the Xbox 360 has managed to hold its own, even when the PS3 was eventually released, and continues to be a favourite amongst ‘hardcore’ gamers.
The current Xbox 360 revision (Xbox 360 S) is available in two main configurations, the entry-level Xbox 360 4 GB option which comes with a 4GB flash memory drive, and the more expensive 250 GB variant which sports a massive 250GB HD.
In June 2011 Microsoft also announced Xbox 360 Limited Edition configurations which are destined to be extremely popular with fans. First up in these “Limited Collector Editions” (LCE) is a Gears of War 3 branded unit, closely followed by a Star Wars Xbox 360 Kinect bundle. Both LCEs come with an increased HD size of 320GB.
